Are you looking for a way to fix your ads, capture more attention and get you more clients…

Then you should keep reading to find out exactly how.

I clearly remember when I first started writing ads.

I wanted to stand out, by using fancy words that no one understood anyway.

I had gone through plenty of marketing examples over time, trying to study as much as possible,

before starting out on my own.

So you would think that I was well suited to start writing great ads.

But… I wasn't.

I was looking at it in the wrong way, focusing on making it fancy with a bunch of words and insane graphics so that it would sound sooooo smart and look amazing.

I once saw this car ad saying “Do you want your car to attract sexy females like a magnet without blowing hundreds of thousands of dollars on a supercar” back then I thought to myself, that's good writing, that is going to give great results.

Little did I know.

Because I was missing the whole point about writing ads.

The Secret Reason Why Most Ads Don't Perform

I did some research, looking at hundreds of ads, trying to figure out why most ads, including mine, were so terrible.

I just couldn't figure it out. It was extremely frustrating.

After a while, I came across a wise Dutch man who happened to be a marketing wizard.

I started studying him and his methods to see why he was so good.

So I ended up copying his stuff, ran it side by side with mine to compare, and hopefully I could figure out what he was doing that was so much better.

And guess what…

I was finally seeing clearly, it was so obvious why my ads sucked and his didn’t.

Fixing Your Marketing

Writing ads is about writing like a human instead of an alien, when people read your ads and all they can imagine is if chewbacca was speaking to them, then they move on in no time.

If you are trying to sell the newest SUV on the market, don’t make a video of someone driving by some hot girls, listening to hip hop and then say “are you looking to attract some females, then this SUV is for you. That's not going to work is it.

First of all, it doesn't make sense, and second, it targets the wrong people.

Instead, just keep it simple.

“Are you looking for an SUV, then come to our dealership and test drive the newest model”

Simplicity Is Key

You want to keep it simple, and you are going to do that with the KISS principle, KISS is short for Keep it simple, stupid!

The KISS principle states that most systems work best if they are kept simple rather than made complicated.

So you see what I was doing for waaaaay too long, making it complicated, so complicated that no one would take action on my ads, because people probably got confused by them.

Fix your ads by keeping it simple.
