How These 3 Steps Will Get You More Sales (Part 1 - Seduction)
If you want to get people's attention, attract more clients, or grow your business.
You need to get good at writing, show people that you’re an actual pro at what you do.
Because being a good writer is like having superpowers.
But…
There is soooo much bad writing out there.
Most of it is boring, some doesn’t make any sense, and lots of it is so hard to read that your eyes keep rolling just from trying to focus.
If you’re thinking ‘this is only happening where I live’ you’re wrong.
It's happening all over the world, in every country and every language.
‘Fixing Bad Writing Once And For All’
In this first part of a three series article, I will show you some tips and tricks on how to improve your writing, so that you get people not only reading your stuff, but also to keep reading.
Step 1 -> Seduction:
Imagine you’re scrolling through your feed.
What's the reason that you stop at a specific article, or blog post, or facebook ad.
If you’re thinking of headlines you are right.
The headline has to be so enticing that people can’t help themselves to not press that link.
Think about this…
The article behind any headline might be the best in the world, but if the headline sucks, you’ll keep scrolling.
Or take a look at a newspaper, lines everywhere and very condensed, half a paragraph in and your brain is about to explode.
Now take a good look at the article you are reading right now.
I will bet you don’t even get a headache from reading this article.
Because I make it easy for you to read.
No paragraphs going on and on with words no one even understands.
Just short and easy to digest paragraphs.
Does that mean that everything has to be easy?
Completely spelt out so the reader doesn't have to use their brain at all.
No…
But you do need to think about how you format your content, no matter if it’s articles, videos or audio.
It all comes down to you being able to hook the reader.
But the hook is only the beginning.
Next up I will get into how you keep someone reading your stuff, after luring them with your headline.
Stay tuned.
